MELAKA, Oct 31 ( Bernama ) - The School Based Assessment Management System (SPPBS) and the School Management System (SPS) will be integrated to form a database to ease the burden of teachers.
The measure to be undertaken by the Ministry of Education in two months is part of the Malaysian Education Development Plan or 1Data Integration.
Ministry secretary-general Datuk Dr Madinah Mohamad said when implemented, teachers only need to input school daily operations using only one system.
"We are looking at integrating the two systems so that teachers do not have to use multiple systems thus reducing their burden," she told reporters after a dialogue between the Public Service Department director-general Tan Sri Mohamad Zabidi Zainal with 2,000 teachers and officers, here Thursday.
Dr Madinah said the effort should be undertaken seriously as teachers had to access the two systems and this led to delays and inaccessibility.

PS Geez, they have taken too long to realize this matter. I hope the new system will work better than the old ColdFusion system.
